The best way to Set up a Graphic Driver for an HP Laptop

A graphics driver can be a piece of computer software that tells your video card hardware how you can function. HP, or Hewlett-Packard, is usually a Computer manufacturer that my use a number of distinct video cards in its laptop machines. HP presents a driver download service by way of its Website to assist customers locate the acceptable drivers for their machines, no matter what video card model they require supported.

Introduce:

1 Sort "www.HP.com" into your Net browser's address bar. Press "Enter" to load HP's Website.

2 Click around the "Support & Drivers" tab along the top of the Website. It written in large white text on a black background.

3 Click around the radio button for "Download drivers and application (firmware)" under the "Step 1" section.

4 Kind your HP product name and model number into the blank field under "Step 2". For example you may kind "TouchSmart IQ504" if that is your laptop model. Click "How do I uncover my product name/number?" link under the blank field if you will need aid locating the model number.

5 Click the "Go" button next to the text entry field under "Step 2". A new page will now load.

6 Click around the operating system you use on your laptop. For example, "Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)".

7 Locate the "graphics driver" from the list of drivers that appear. It may appear under the "Original Drivers" section of the table. It will be described with a specific manufacturer and model number, such as "Intel Graphics Driver." Click around the "Graphics Driver" link.

8 Click around the blue "Download" button near the top of the page under the "Download Options and Information" bar. A new dialogue box will appear.

9 Click the "Save to" option and choose "Desktop" from the left-hand column. Click "OK" button in the bottom right-hand column.

10 Navigate to your Desktop after the download is complete. Uncover the ".exe" file for your graphics drivers and double-click it. The installation process will begin.
