Tips on how toInstall Speakers on a Dell

Locate the green three.5-mm (1/8-inch) plug-in adapter hole around the rear in thecomputer. In most desktops, it isnext to a blue and pink plug-in hole of youridentical size.

two Plug the three.5-mm male adapter plug from the speakers in to the green plug-in adapter hole. Then, plug the AC adapter into an electrical outlet. If required, insert the plug-in adapter for the AC adapter in to theright hole or slot around the speakers.

three Boot your pc and log-in for your Windows operating program.

four Click around the "Start" button and after that "Control Panel" tab. Once the "Control Panel" screen is displayed, double-click on the "Sounds and Audio Devices" icon.

5Allow the "Place Volume Icon around the Taskbar" option. Also, ensure that the "Mute" optionjust isn't checked. Adjust the volume for Windows applications by adjusting the volume slider controltogether with your mouse. Click and drag the slider until the dial is at thedesired volume level.

6 Click around the "Advanced" tab. Make sure the "Desktop Stereo Speakers" choice is displayed in the drop-down box and click the "OK" button. Click "OK" once more to finish the installation of your speakers.

7 Turn
on theenergyfor the speakers. Insert a music CD in to the CD/DVD drive of one'spersonal computer or play other sounds on yourPc to test the new computer speakers.

1 Click
around the "Start" globe or button after which the "Control Panel" label. The Handle Panel main screen will displayon your monitor. Click around the "Hardware and Sound" hyperlink.

2 Click the "Manage Audio Devices" linkwithin the "Sound" section on theManage Panel screen. The "Sound" configuration window will then open.

3 Click the "Speakers" label beneath the "Playback" tab. Click the "Configure" button to open the "Speaker Setup" configuration window and choose the "Stereo" option. Click the "Next" button.

fourAllow the "Front Left and Right" selection box by clicking the verify box. Once theverify mark appearswithin the box, click eachtiny speaker icons to test the sound from the speakers. You should hear sound from the two suitable speakers when you click the speaker icon labeled "R," plus the two speakers on the left mustmake sound if you click the icon labeled "L."

5 Click the "Next" button after which the "Finish" button to complete the speaker setup.

six Adjust the volume by clicking on the speaker icon close to the time and date locationin the taskbar. Use the slider manage to adjust the volume to thepreferred level.
